Delete your RANZ Hub account

You can permanently delete your account at any time. This page describes what happens, how to do it, and how to request deletion if you no longer have access to your account.

What gets deleted

  • Your name and email are immediately anonymised on your account record and on any forum posts, comments, or content you have created.
  • Your profile (role, region, experience, company, materials, sign-in method) is removed.
  • Your push-notification subscriptions are revoked and any device tokens we hold are deleted.

What is retained, and why

  • Aggregated learning activity (XP events, quiz answers, topic progress) is retained in non-identifying form for up to 12 months so RANZ industry reports and leaderboard history remain consistent. After 12 months it is hard-deleted.
  • Records we are legally required to keep (e.g. financial records relating to paid memberships, audit logs of admin actions) are retained for the period set out in the Privacy Policy.

Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

Option 1 — Sign in and delete it yourself

The fastest way. Sign in, then go to your account page and use the "Delete account" action. You will be asked to type DELETE to confirm.

Option 2 — Email us if you can’t sign in

If you have lost access to your account, email us from the address you originally signed up with so we can verify it’s you. We will action the deletion within five working days and confirm by reply.

Include the email address on your account, and (if known) the date you signed up. Do not include your password — we will never ask for it.
