The Hub is a guide, not a guarantee. The RANZ Hub gives you summaries, calculators, AI-assisted answers, and links to source documents. It is provided for general information and learning only. It is not engineering advice, not a building consent, and not a substitute for the Building Code, NZ Standards, or manufacturer instructions.

You must verify everything. AI can make mistakes. Calculators use simplified assumptions. Source documents change. Before you rely on any information from the Hub on a job, you must check it against the current source material and apply your own professional judgement. You remain fully responsible for the work you install, certify, or sign off.

RANZ's liability is limited. RANZ provides the Hub on an "as is" basis. To the maximum extent allowed by law, RANZ is not liable for loss, damage, rework, defects, fines, or claims arising from reliance on Hub content, AI output, calculator output, forum posts, or third-party material linked from the Hub.

Forum and uploads. Posts and photos are user content. You are responsible for what you upload. Do not share client identifying information without permission. Moderators may remove content that breaches these terms.
